INTRO TO 90 DAYS OF INTENTIONAL CONDUCT

Updated: Feb 26, 2023

In a society of rapid acceleration in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, we are slowly stripping ourselves from practicing intentional conduct. Our daily intention is disproportionately drafted by bad habits and cultural trends.

I speak from personal experience. I too am guilty.

To pump the brakes on the consumption of information is a daunting task. I've attempted my own 90 days of intentional conduct on 3 separate occasions, finding myself falling back into old habits somewhere within the first 25-35 days. The culprit behind each failed attempt has been my cellphone. It seems like one slip-up leads to finding myself right back in the guillotine of digital information.

How Shall I Live?

This is the first question asked as you open my 90-day self-guided planner. It's an attempt to afford you some time to seriously consider how you want to live your life. Chances are, between flipping through apps on your screen, you haven't gifted yourself the opportunity to analyze how you spend your time, energy, and/or money in comparison to your aim in life.

If you're finding yourself questioning, what IS my aim? - you're not alone. We live in a world of external distractions and evolving influence, it's difficult to cut through the lush forrest of information to hear your own thoughts; let alone set out to literally create the world you desire.

For myself, I intend to prioritize my family and building a life with them that affords exploration of our individual and collective interests. To spend our time maximizing the human experience according to our principles and values - which have been altered and tinkered with during the past decade.

To do so, I had to begin by hacking away at the obstructions of my focus. I admit my cellphone was THE enemy. In order to prepare myself for war, I had to consciously develop a strategy to live with intentional conduct. This daily planner was carefully crafted to be the first step on the path to individual growth with a focus on uplifting the traditional family unit.

It has taken quite some time to collect my thoughts in order to set my aim. I've had to examine how my time is spent in order to create the world I desire. It must begin by acknowledging the wear and tear of life up to this point and refurbishing myself as a man. Essentially disposing the bad while implementing the newfound good.

What will I research? What hobbies will I pursue? What books will I read? What shall I seek in order to get more out of life? For each decision has the potential to move the needle forward. I'm deciding to put my head in the sand and focus solely on the tasks and information I set out for myself.

Feel free to join me on my 90 days of intentional conduct where I'll discuss what I'm doing and where I'm attempting to go. I've decided to offer an initial run of 100 pre-orders of the first draft of the planner to invite others on their own 90 days. I've gifted prototype planners to friends and collaborators in an attempt to collect feedback. Their feedback has been greatly appreciated as most have expressed interest in purchasing planners for their friends.

What better way to hold myself accountable than welcoming eyes on my own journey? For nearly a decade I've worked behind the scenes as a talent manager, carefully connecting dots in order to help creatives make careers out of their art. For the first time in a long time, I'll be focusing my energy on doing so for myself.
